COURSE OVERVIEW

The presence of Muslims in Canada dates back to 1854. Since this point in history, as a diverse community, Muslims have been contributing in significant ways to the development of Canadian society. A Muslim must strive to be of benefit to the communities and societies around them, and be at the forefront of developing a thriving society.

This stream focuses on building an understanding of how to contribute to a thriving Canada through various spheres of justice, civic engagement and social contributions.
